Lamel Cosmetics launches in Indian market

On August 11, European beauty brand Lamel launched in the Indian market with beauty import business Kanvar Group and its selection of colour cosmetics now retails on a range of multi-brand e-commerce platforms.

Aiming to cater to the mass consumer segment of the Indian beauty market, Lamel has launched on e-commerce platforms including HOK Makeup, Nykaa, Amazon and Myntra, the brand announced in a press release on August 11. Kanvar Group aims to disrupt the Indian beauty market with its new brand launch and plans to continue to expand Lamel’s presence in the Indian market in the future. 
Lamel has a youthful aesthetic and it mainly caters to Gen Z and millennial consumers. Products include colourful eyeshadows, face and body glitter, lip glosses, lip liners, pressed powder, and foundations among others.  

“The brand’s primary aim is to ensure that every individual can keep up with contemporary fashion while feeling confident in their own skin,” announced Lamel in a press release. “Lamel firmly believes in the power of self-expression and strives to provide the freedom for everyone to follow pop-culture trends if they wish to do so. By doing this, Lamel aspires to inspire people to achieve more by being true to themselves.”
Natalia Iaromenko launched the Lamel brand in 2012 with the aim of creating a makeup brand which emphasises self-expression and inclusivity. All of the brand’s products are 100% cruelty-free and PETA approved.
