[ad_1]

Shoppers are rushing to get their hands on a new acne-busting pair of skincare products that will reduce and even banish your acne and breakouts in as little as 24 hours.

The Blemish-Busting Duo: Nip It In The Bud Acne-Clearing Treatment and Blemish Buds Hemp Acne Patches by Aussie skincare brand Hey Bud Skincare comes off the back of the brand’s Gentle Jane Exfoliator, which sold out just 24 hours after launching earlier this year.

Together, the Hey Bud products ($38) aim to target every stage of your breakout, including blind pimples under the skin, whiteheads and even blackheads.

They do this by including the innovative ingredient Miracne – which is a vegan active known for helping with breakouts – along with the anti-inflammatory hemp seed oil, which is the brand’s not-so-secret weapon to fight redness, control breakouts and keep skin moisturised.

The new pair of products cost $42, but they are currently being sold for just $38 if bought from the Hey Bud website.

The childhood friends behind Hey Bud Skincare, Alex Roslaniec and Fedele D’Amico, alongside co-founder Ollie Watts, said they launched the Blemish-Busting Duo because they wanted to create something that other brands hadn’t made.

“Hey Bud was originally born out of a need for a skincare brand that can not only clear acne, but also support long-term skin health and repair,” Fedele tells 7Life.

“That’s exactly how we’ve created the Duo – it’s everything you need to help clear your acne today, but also innovative ingredients to make sure your skin’s getting healthier for less acne in the future.”

Alex adds: “After a sell-out launch earlier in the year, we know that we’re creating amazing products based on what beauty lovers want in their routine, but also providing them with something different with the latest technology and ingredients.

“We wanted to create something for our customers that is actually going to help heal their skin long-term, not just clear a breakout they may have today.”

Several shoppers who tried the products ahead of them being released have raved about them for clearing up their skin – almost overnight.

“Helped my acne better than any other product I’ve used, most importantly to me it helped with the pain and inflammation,” one customer called Aja said.

“It works a lot faster than other spot treatments – I noticed visible results within 24 hours,” another shopper called Tara added.

A third said: “I found that my acne didn’t look so angry and I was also not experiencing pain like I normally would from my acne. The redness also went away so quickly”.

The Blemish-Busting Duo comes off the back of the Gentle Jane exfoliator, which sold out earlier in the year in just 24 hours.

The brand claims Gentle Jane was developed as an alternative to harsh facial scrubs which can leave skin feeling irritated and dry.

This product includes a chemical exfoliation from natural fruit AHAs to break down the top layer of dead skin cells, while allowing a physical exfoliation to leave you with polished, soft skin.

Using cellulose beads, found naturally in plant fibres, the founders say it has been created with sustainability in mind.

“When developing Gentle Jane, we took time to look at the options other exfoliation products use in the market,” Alex tells 7Life.

“And it was sad to see there is still a presence of micro-plastics in some other brands’ products in the beauty industry.

“Creating this product with biodegradable cellulose beads was an easy decision as we continue to put sustainability at the core of everything we do.”
